shark-iq-robot-vacuum-av970-self-cleaning-brushroll-advanced-navigation-perfect-for-pet-hair-works-with-alexa-wi-fi-xl-dust-bin-a-black-finish-573.jpgA robot vacuum/mop combo is the ideal option for pets who shed fur. The machine can vacuum and mop and even dry and clean its own dual mop pads.

It also has 8,000Pa suction which is the most of any robot we've tested. It also can save maps of your home and set cleaning schedules from its app.

1. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni robot vacuum-mop is the latest in Ecovacs range of hybrid robot vacuum mops. This model is dry and wet. It includes the updated AIVI 3D2.0 lidar system Ecovacs, which gives improved mapping and obstruction avoidance. It uses dual-laser LiDAR similar to the kind you'd find in self-driving cars and is able to scan an area of up to 32 feet by 270 degrees. This results in more precise mapping, quicker response times, and higher cleaning accuracy.

It also features a rotating mopping pad constructed of chenille, which makes it easier to scrub hard areas unlike traditional mop. In my testing the X2 Omni took just over one minute to clean its pad before getting to work. I also noticed that it was much more accurate than other models that were able to follow a grid-like path around rooms. It was able to navigate the corners and edges of my rooms as well as make "Zambani patterns" across the middle of the room. It returned to its OMNI Station regularly to empty the dustbin and wash the mop with hot water before beginning another task of cleaning.

The X2 Omni is as easy to use and set up as the other Ecovacs products. Simply snap the dock into place then plug it in and pair it with your WiFi network at home. It only takes some minutes. Then, you can launch the app to start your first cleaning project. I was able to modify my floor plan in less than 15 minutes. This included creating restricted areas for sweeping and mopping, reworking the placement of furniture on the wall, and more. The X2 Omni was astonished during my tests, scoring outstanding scores in the removal of pet hair and debris cleaning, as well as near-perfect results for cleaning crevices and edges.

2. Deebot T10 Omni

If you're looking for a strong combination of mopping and vacuuming look into the ECOVACS Deebot T10 Omni. It is the most sophisticated of the T-line from the brand and features the new OZMO Turbo2.0 mopping system that makes use of a dual-spinning brush to provide better cleaning than the traditional scrubbing. It also has YIKO, robot vacuum mops which is a natural language processing system that is a first of its kind. It can respond to a variety of voice commands. You can use the ECOVACS app to map your home, create cleaning schedules, and adjust settings.

The main drawback of the T10 Omni is that it's unable to switch from mopping to vacuuming in one run. The two modes require you attach and remove mop heads as needed which is great for most homes, but isn't an ideal choice for those who have a busy schedule.

The Deebot T10 Omni is an excellent robot vacuum that delivers outstanding results in our pet hair tests. It was able to vacuum up more than 96% of the particles we tossed at it on our hardwood flooring and floors, which is a remarkable performance. It also did a fantastic job on carpet and tile and tile, getting rid of more than 99% of dirt and debris.

This robot vacuum and mops comes with a large docking system that allows for automatic cleaning with cool water for the mop pads. It also comes with an auto-emptying 3L bag that is easy to replace and hot air drying for fast and simple maintenance. It also has a huge water tank that allows for more frequent rinses and dries between mopping runs.

The Deebot T10 features a wash tray that is built into its base, similar to other mopping robots. It makes use of the wash tray to wash and dry its mop pads while it is using them. It does not have a removable tray so dirt, dust and other grime will gradually build up at the bottom.

3. RoboVac X8 hybrid

While Anker-owned Eufy is well known in the robot vacuum space, this model is its first venture into the world of mopping. It has improved intelligence and support for multiple maps, LIDAR scanning and twin-turbine technology that automatically adjusts to the surface you are cleaning. It's a tempting mid-range vacuum cleaner however it doesn't exactly live up to its promise of being the ultimate source for floor cleaning.

The X8 Hybrid looks like a regular robotic vacuum cleaner from the top, with its circular shape with sweeping wheels, as well as an elevated area for sensors. On the other hand you'll find a motorized floorbrush as well as one side brush that pushes dust away from the edges and into the main path of its' mouth.' It's a little smaller than the main brushes of the iRobot Roomba S9 which I found made it easier to reach under chairs and couches.

Its mapping system allows you to define no-mop areas as well as specific cleaning zones. It has a habit of hitting things like its charging station, and isn't great in climbing over carpets. It was good at getting pet hair off of carpets. In our tests, robot vacuum mops it picked up 89.5 percent of cat litter.

Although it's controlled through the app and the app, the X8 Hybrid also comes with a series of physical buttons on its base that allow you to select a cleaning mode, and turn the robot off and on. Additionally, you can use these to set no-go zones and see maps in real-time. It's also a bit chatty, and will let you know what it's planning to do next (start cleaning) or warn you if something is wrong.

4. ILIFE A4s

This model is high-tech and sucks up pet hair, kibble and other debris with top-notch effectiveness and effortlessly moves around furniture legs. It has a feature set that is impressive, which includes two cleaning modes and an automatic docking station, and a real-time obstacle avoidance system. It's Wi-Fi-connected and best vacuum mop for pet hair controlled through the Neato app where cleaning can be scheduled and the overall maintenance requirements be monitored. The X2 Omni is a great choice for large homes that have a mix of hard and carpet flooring. However it will require some planning in advance to avoid getting caught on electrical cables, toys or other unexpected obstructions.

In our tests of hardwood floors and kibble the robot performed very well and picked up everything from one grain of rice up to many pieces of dog food in one go. It had some issues with rugs however, generally speaking this vacuum cleaner is perfect for large rooms that contain different flooring types as well as a mixture of pets.

The A4s Pro is a bit expensive but it's an excellent option for those who wish to be able to leave the house with no hands on so they can take on other tasks or do chores. The A4s Pro also offers a convenient auto cleaning mode that increases suction power to deal with difficult spills and dirt, and it is equipped with a battery-powered ElectroWall which allows you to set boundaries that the robot isn't allowed to be allowed to enter.

This budget-friendly Deenkee Robot Vacuum: Powerful - Quiet - WiFi-Enabled Cleaning from a popular new brand is the cheapest we've tested and provides exceptional value for the money. The basic navigation system is based on a very basic random pathing algorithm, and it's not able to map rooms. This makes it less efficient than other models in this list. It's still able to get under furniture and into corners. Its mopping mode performed well in our tests and picked up hairs that were straying and other debris.

5. Shark iQ

Shark's iQ may not appear as durable however, it's better at cleaning pet hair from all surfaces. It gets rid of floors with less thoroughly and does a good job on carpets with low pile and also makes use of smart-pathing navigational technology for superior maneuverability. It can be directed to a specific area, and comes with a range of advanced automation features including no-go zones and schedules. It even lets you pause and resume a cleaning session which is ideal for households with pets.

Its self-cleaning brushroll prevents the tangles caused by pet hair and other debris, and its bagless self-emptying docking station can hold up to 30 days of dirt before it needs to be emptied. It also comes with an assortment of angled side brushes that penetrate into corners and its multi-stage filtration system captures dust, dander, and allergens for cleaner air.

The iQ robot vacuum is well-built and feels solid. It works with a smartphone application which lets you alter the vacuum settings and schedule cleaning times ahead of time. The app lets you see the remaining battery life of the iQ, and send push notifications if it encounters any issues during the cleaning session. You can use your voice to control it using an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant device If you do not have either of these options, you can mark areas with physical boundary strips.

The iQ can do a decent job of removing bare flooring and doing a good job on shaggy and low-pile carpet however it lacks the same level of autonomy as our top picks. It is also expensive and its monthly costs can increase.
